Mexican Tasting Event - Jan 25, 1 pm
Discover a taste of Mexico right in the heart of Oxford County! The store will be transformed into a cozy pop-up restaurant with a large communal table to sit at, taste, and share your experience with fellow diners. Each dish will highlight fresh, local ingredients from Oxford County and beyond. While you savour each bite, you’ll also get to learn a little more about the ingredients.

On the Menu:
1st Course - Elote en Vaso
A street food favourite, reimagined. Sweet corn kernels tossed in a creamy, dairy-free sauce with lime, chili, and a touch of garlic, topped with plant-based cotija, tajín, and fresh cilantro.
2nd Course - Creamy Tortilla Soup
All the bold flavours of a taco in a rich, plant-based tortilla soup. Made with seasoned plant-based “meat,” black beans, fire-roasted tomatoes, corn, mushrooms and peppers, all simmered in a spiced, creamy broth. Finished with fresh avocado, cilantro, lime, and crispy tortilla strips.
3rd Course -Taco
Soft corn tortilla filled with marinated plant-based “meat,” topped with smoky guajillo salsa, charred pineapple, pickled red onion, dairy-free lime crema, and fresh cilantro.
4th Course - Mexican Hot Chocolate Mousse
Silky chocolate mousse infused with cinnamon, vanilla, and a hint of chilli. Topped with coconut whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate.
