Made from fairtrade and organic ingredients
Wet beans are purchased from farmers in three regions of Omoa, Lake Yojoa and Copan/Sant Barbara/Cortez, centrally fermented & dried in Western Honduras, near Copan ruins.
The cacao used in this bar was ethically sourced from Copan region in Honduras via MABCO. We pay the farmers fairtrade prices in an effort to adequately compensate farmers’ labour, support local infrastructure, and encourage sustainable growth.
About VAKA Chocolate
Small batch, bean to bar, craft chocolate. Single-origin, inclusions, flavor exploration. We use only ethically and sustainably sourced cacao in combination with the finest ingredients to create chocolate you can feel good about. Our products are inspired by nature, the seasons, a conversation with a friend, a family-old dessert recipe, a favorite song, and are made in small-batch quantities. Once sold out, some may not return until a year later.
