This organic chamomile tea with lemongrass helps cleanse your body of toxins and calm your mind. Since it does not contain any caffeine, it’s perfect for any stressful moments throughout the day or to calm down right before going to bed. Chamomile tea has many health benefits and is known to aid digestion and enhance absorption of iron.
Fairtrade tea
JusTea only uses tea that is good and fair for tea drinkers and for farmers. When you buy tea that is Fairtrade certified, you support small-scale farmers and workers. With Fairtrade, they’re able to improve their lives while they adhering to social, economic and environmental standards.
How to steep your Chamomile tea
Place a pyramid bag in your cup and heat your water to 205 F. Pour the water over the chamomile tea and let it steep for 4 minutes. The pyramid bag allows the whole leaf tea to expand and release their full flavor. Keep it around to steep a second cup whenever you feel like it. Ready to discard? The pyramid bag is 100% biodegradable, so place it in your compost bin.
Why tea from Kenya?
There are over 500,000 small-scale farmers in Kenya who grow and export over 450,000 tons of tea each year. That makes Kenya the world’s largest exporter of tea, ahead of some of the more famous tea countries such as China, Sri Lanka, and India. The equator divides Kenya, so the year-round sunshine means the tea is grown and plucked almost all year round. Moreover, Kenya’s volcanic soil naturally produces some of the world’s most flavourful tea.
