At FAIR/SQUARE we sell green beauty products that are not only great for your skin but also gentle to the planet and our furry friends. We love to see when body care and skin care makers work exclusively with all-natural or organic ingredients, make their products palm oil-free and choose sustainable packaging solutions. While not everyone can be perfect on all fronts (although a few actually are!), all products listed at FAIR/SQUARE must live up to the following values:
We don't sell any products with animal-derived ingredients in them. Period. Our selection includes products from brands that are completely vegan such as BKIND, Buck Naked Soap Company, and Sudsdatorium, as well as products from brands that offer a good vegan selection such as Skin Essence, Epic Blend, and all the others.
If you ask us, animal testing should end today! We don't want to play any role in it which is why we only sell products from cruelty-free brands. The vast majority of them are officially certified (either Leaping Bunny or PETA's Beauty without Bunnies program), only a handful of small independent brands is not yet certified.
We do not only love supporting local Canadian businesses but also the fact, that getting our hands on their products doesn't involve excessive CO2 emissions for shipping. What's even more amazing, is that some brands like Graydon Skincare even use Canadian grown ingredients such as broccoli seed oil or camelina oil.
